The EM5000 is a three-point hitch mounted posthole digger.  This model is great for most standard duty applications on the farm or ranch, such as fence posts or tree planting.  It fits a category 1 three-point hitch, and is powered by the tractor PTO.  The boom and U-frame are manufactured from 2-7/8" diameter heavy wall pipe.  The gearbox features a 5-year no hassle warranty. 

Working depth is 42", but can be extended an additional 18" with a three-position auger extension.  All augers feature replaceable, bolt on serrated cutting teeth and a spiral tip auger point for easy hole starting.  Augers are double flighted half way up with 1/4" sectional flighting.  The upper section of auger flighting is 1/8" thick.
