The 448 Backhoe is compatible with 3120, 3320, 3520, 3720, 4120, 4320, 4520, 4720, 4310, 4410, 4510, 4610, 4710, 4300, 4400, 4500, 4600, and 4700 Tractors.

Note:  The 448 Backhoe is NOT compatible with 3320-3720 or 4320-4720 Cab Tractors.  There is interference with the back of the cab and the backhoe.

Due to several enhancements, the 448 Backhoe offers improved performance over the 48 Backhoe.

• The 448 Backhoe features a new curved power boom, which gives the operator more reach for digging and a better view of the digging area
• A revised valve design reduces temperature rise during backhoe operation, thus facilitating more optimal backhoe performance

• Vertical or side-to-side movement is virtually eliminated, providing more stability. The design of the mainframe also positions the entire backhoe close to the tractor. Operators are also able to benefit from the total weight transfer between the backhoe stabilizers and loader bucket

  The tractor chassis is protected because the mainframe integrates the tractor and backhoe combination together as one, Improved quick-coupler hydraulic connection
