Ryan Jr. Sod Cutter - Briggs & Stratton Vanguarad Engine
The Ryan Jr. Sod Cutter has been one of the best sod cutting machines in the industry for over 50 years!
The new Ryan Jr. Sod Cutter has reduced the vibration to the operator by up to 75%. The machine uses four elastomeric handle isolators to isolate and absorb and vibration from the machine. The handle-support spring helps to support the weight of the handle assembly while isolating all other machine vibrations.
A locking pneumatic rear caster allows for both straight and curved sod cutting that cannot be matched by any other sod cutter available on the market today.
A new cutting depth indicator allows the operator to easily change the depths up to 2.5" with quick access for the operator.
With 90% of the machine's weight resting on the cast iron drive wheel, the vuclanized knobby tread provides superior traction and stability during use.
The 4-cycle Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine provides a recoil start, on/of switch, and low oil alert, all while providing 182cc of engine displacement. This powerful yet affordable machine can cut up to 135 feet of sod per minute, depending on the unit's cutting width of either 12" and 18".
